Help, I want you to write my website!

Writing your website yourself has the advantage of ensuring that your unique voice comes across on the website and ensures that you are able to say exactly what you want to say.

However, for time or other reasons, some people  prefer me to write your website for them. I am happy to do this as I have considerable experience writing simple, effective websites. When writing your website I will spend time with you either in person or on the phone (or Skype) to get a good feel for the content you want on your website. I will then produce a draft navigation structure for your approval, followed by draft text and images to go on your website.

Once you have given approval for your website, I will put it online using hosting companies I recommend. Remember, you are able to make any changes that you want to your website at any time, including once it is online!

I charge $40 per hour for all writing and website drafting activities. A typical website will take 8-12 hours to write and get approval from you, including our initial content discussion. Other costs (such as the cost of the website theme, hosting etc) are additional to this.
